Once your leaf is fired, the piece will be 99.9% pure silver, and can be hallmarked as fine silver. When you order a wedding leaf pendant, you will receive a pack through the post, which includes the following:

• A numbered voucher to send in with your leaves.
• A stamped jiffy bag addressed to Clay Corner.
• Two pieces of stiff cardboard and elastic bands
• An instruction sheet specifying the maximum size of leaf, and how to pack it.
• A blank address label for you to fill in. This will be used to post your package back to you.

Ideally, your leaves should be posted to Clay Corner on the next posting day after your wedding. The jiffy bag will have a first class stamp for quick delivery.

Your leaf will be made into the silver pendant and attached to a sterling silver chain. When it is sent back to you, it will come in a clear-topped jewellery box. You can have a 3mm cubic zirconia added for a small extra charge. A list of available colours is detailed below.

If by any chance, the leaves get forgotten in the excitement of the day, check the bouquet when you can. A pendant can still be made from dried leaves, as long as you pick good specimens.

It is the back of the leaf which will be used to make your pendant - the more pronounced the veins, the more detailed your pendant will be.

You are asked to send a minimum of 4 leaves as the leaf being silvered is dried 7 or 8 times before firing, which shrivels the original. In the unlikely event of a problem before firing, there are still backup leaves to use.
